Saltwell House is a small studio for nervous-system-led, accessibility-aware care. We help people quiet old patterns, rebuild confidence, and feel genuinely at ease in their own skin again.
Who we are
So much wellbeing advice asks you to perform - to optimise, push, and arrive somewhere better. We work the other way. We slow things down, listen to what your body has been carrying, and build a practice you can actually keep.
Every plan we make is shaped around the real conditions of your life: your energy, your access needs, the time you have. Nothing here assumes you can simply try harder. It assumes you deserve care that meets you where you already are.

Most people arrive needing more than one. We start wherever the pressure is loudest and grow the practice from there.
Gentle, paced sessions to meet the parts of you shaped by early experience - using mindfulness, journaling and reparenting so old patterns lose their grip.
ExploreCare designed around real bodies and real barriers. We help you navigate eligibility, access and the practical side of living well with a long-term condition.
ExploreFor the relationship you have with how you look and how you're seen. Subtle, affirming work to soften self-criticism and let you feel at home in your own reflection.
ExploreA simple rhythm we return to, whether you stay six weeks or six seasons.
A relaxed first conversation - no forms, no pressure. We listen to what brought you here and what you actually want to feel different.
Together we name the patterns and the practical barriers, then shape a plan that respects your energy, access needs and time.
Short, repeatable habits between sessions - body scans, letters to your younger self, regulation work - so change builds quietly.
We widen the spacing as your own ground firms up. The aim is always for you to need us less, not more.
“I'd tried the apps and the advice. Saltwell was the first place that asked what I actually needed instead of telling me. A year on, I recognise myself again.”
“They understood my access needs without me having to fight for them. The plan moved at my pace. That alone changed everything.”
“I came in hating photos of myself. The confidence work was so gentle I barely noticed it landing - until I did. Worth every session.”
A few longer reads on the things clients bring to us most. Written plainly, never clinical.

Recognising old wounds, practising self-compassion and bringing back play - the gentle groundwork of reparenting.

A plain-English walk through who qualifies, what you'll need, and how to apply - minus the bureaucratic dread.

The full picture: eligibility, documentation, benefits and the small print, so accessing support feels less daunting.
Independent guides and practitioners whose work we trust enough to send you their way.
No assessment, no commitment. Just twenty minutes to see whether Saltwell House is the right room for you.
